This is a pre-emptive blog. What is that you ask? Well, it is a blog in anticipation of the future my good friend. You see, my wonderful wife and I are adventurers. Our adventurers are sometimes grand and sometimes... less so. Throughout it all, we try to be as practical as possible about having fun. That doesn't mean we're your grandparents! The Practical Adventurers goal is to find excitement in virtually every facet of life. So, here we are. Pre-emptively reserving this blog domain on behalf of the Slyvan Coolest. Camper. Ever. Adventure Contest. They're going to pick us because we're awesome, funny and fully full of gumption (just like their target audience). In the process, we'll inspire you to be a practical adventurer too (and hopefully make you laugh along the way). In the end, you'll probably be very jealous of our very cool GO but you will also find inspiration to start your own adventures. Be they small or great.
About Us: We are a young family, very technologically savy (great photographers) and obsessed with anything new, fun or outdoors. We love food and outdoor cooking (entirely too much in fact); we love camping, hiking, biking, swimming, paddling, snorkeling and anything that involves unknown whimsy. We manage to find humor in almost anything and hope to share our antics and anecdotes with you, our dear fellow adventurers! SO, enough adieu about nothing...
